The Advertisement was published in the month of October 2025, and applications are invited from suitable and fit candidates from the districts of the Siran Forest Division.
The applicants of Mansehra are also allowed to submit applications for the posts. As per the official advertisement, all applicants must have an Intermediate qualification and meet relevant physical standards regarding height (5 feet 6 inches) and chest size (32–34 inches). Position Description – Forest Guard (BPS-08)
This is a field-based position that will require physically fit, disciplined, and motivated team members who enjoy working outdoors. The successful candidates will patrol forest areas, prevent illegal logging, assist with reforestation, and protect wildlife.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect forest resources from illegal removal or encroachment.
- Assist with the plantation of timber and management activities.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to keep an updated report of the conditions of the forest resource or illegal encroachment by individuals.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of community awareness and conservation education programs.
- Collaborate with the Divisional Forest Officer and other staff members and volunteers.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the DFO.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for Forest Guard Jobs 2025 must meet the following requirements:
Education: Intermediate (F.Sc. Science Group)
Age: Up to 25 years of age (as on the closing day)
Physical Measurement (Standards):
- Height: 5′ 6″ minimum
- Chest: 34″ expanded – 32″ unexpanded
- Running: 12 minutes of running for 3 km
Domicile: Only for Domiciliaries of Mansehra District in the jurisdiction of Siran Forest Division.

Terms & Conditions
- Recruitment will follow the KPK Government’s rules and Forest Department policy.
- ETEA test serves as a screening test; marks will not affect the final selection.
- A minimum of 40% marks is required to qualify for the ETEA test.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via SMS for interviews.
- Age, domicile, and qualification will be verified based on the closing date.
- Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
- No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
- Selected candidates must complete one year of training at KPK Forest School, Thandiani, Abbottabad.
- Candidates must serve at least five years after training; otherwise, training costs must be reimbursed.
- Security bond of Rs. 250,000/- on stamp paper is mandatory for selected guards.
- The department reserves the right to cancel or amend vacancies at any stage.
