The Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) is supported and funded by the World Bank to enhance PESCO’s distribution and transmission infrastructure, improve distribution efficiency, and strengthen institutional capacity. As a Gender Specialist, the consultant will work to achieve gender-sensitive strategies, policies, and training in accordance with the EDEIP Project.

- To develop and implement a Gender Action Plan (GAP) as per the World Bank guidelines.

Requirements

📝 Contract Duration and Salary Package
This is a project-based position, and the contract will be valid until completion of the EDEIP Project (Maximum June 2027).
The remuneration for the position shall be an all-inclusive fixed monthly salary of Rs. 185,800/- (Rs. 185,800/- is a competitive compensation and in line with recognized professional compensation for World Bank-supported projects).
