Manager Commercial (Solar / Renewable Energy)
The Manager Commercial will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and procurement aspects of solar projects, such as cost modelling, strategic sourcing, supplier management and optimising procurement processes.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidate will be expected to carry out the following:-
- Developing flexible cost estimation models and BOQs for solar project.
- Running TCO/LOCE on Tier-1 solar equipment.
- Handling full circle RFP/ RFQ lifecycle.
- Negotiating with suppliers on high dollar value contracts, SLAs and Incoterms.
- To sustain and build a database of pre-certified Tier-1 suppliers.
- Supplier management for modules, inverter, BOS as well as EPC subcontractors.
- Driving SAP/ERP procurement workflows that involve PRs, POs and 3 way invoice matching.
- Building auto-generated KPI dashboards.
- Assisting in the optimization of costs and timely delivery of projects.

- Advanced MS Excel skills such as financial modeling, VBA, Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP.
- Experience with Tier-1 PV modules, string/central Inverters (SI/CI), transformers, trackers, and BOS.
- Knowledge of EPC costing and BOQs.
