The Pakistan WAPDA Foundation is looking to recruit an individual having a progressive personality with excellent skills that can add to the effectiveness of Power Transformers Engineering Services Unit (PTESU) of WAPDA.
Job Responsibilities
The chosen Deputy Manager (Tech) will be expected to carry out technical duties involving the work of power transformer engineering and repair services, such as:
- Supervision of repair work of power transformers of different capacities.
- Quality repair of power transformer.
- Control of regeneration and filtration plants.
- Management of the main store of PTESU.
- Inquiries and checks of materials and parts used in manufacturing power transformers.
- The billing and processing of transformer repair works of various capacities from the DISCOs and other organizations were monitored.
- Providing recommendations to PWF on enhancing quality of transformer maintenance.
- Responsibility for the disposal of dismantled material.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
B. Sc. (Electrical Engineering) from any recognized University by HEC.
Experience
Proven work experience of Deputy Manager or equivalent level based in BPS-18 or higher roles in the Electrical industry for 5-10 years.
Preference will be given to candidates having Power Transformers experience.
Age Limit
The age is up to 62 years.
