The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (M/o FE&PT) is hiring three (03) Short Term Special Education Consultants (Individual Consultants) for a six (06) month period under the Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education Program (ASPIRE) in Pakistan. This is a World Bank-funded initiative to improve inclusive and responsive education in Pakistan.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced education experts to support policy development, capacity building in curriculum, institutional strengthening, and inclusive education practice in the public sector special education institutions of Islamabad.

📋 Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 16 years of education in special education, disability studies, social sciences, development sciences, education, psychology, psychiatry, rehabilitation medicine, orthotics and prosthetics, or a related field.
- Professional experience in disability inclusion, special education, rehabilitation, or institutional development should be at least 8 years.
- Certified or trained professionals in special education will have an added advantage.
- Must have an established career in policy development, curriculum capacity building, and institutional strengthening.
- Excellent understanding of assistive technologies and inclusive practices is essential.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills are required.

📝 Roles & Responsibilities
The Special Education Consultants will:
- Participate in the city’s initiative to bring inclusive education, especially in the basic learning level sector of Islamabad.
- Provide guidance, expertise, and support to improve institutional quality, capacity, accessibility, learning outcomes, and inclusive practices.
- Engage in public sector special education institutions in ICT.
- The initial contract is for six (06) months and may be extended based on performance evaluation by the authorized body.
