General Eligibility Criteria for All Positions

• Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by PMC/PMDC.
  • FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomate of the American Board in the respective specialty.
  • If no candidate holds the above, alternate related qualifications (e.g., General Surgery, Medicine) may be considered with additional relevant experience.
• Experience:
  • 3 years of teaching experience as an Associate Professor (recognized by PMC/PMDC).
  • Total minimum 8 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor OR 9 years as Assistant Professor.
  • 5 published research papers in recognized PMC/PMDC journals (book-form or indexed international journals).
• Age Limit:
  • Males: 35 to 50 years + 5 years general relaxation = 55 years
  • Females: 35 to 50 years + 8 years general relaxation = 58 years
• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis

Specific Notes and Conditions

1. Research Paper Requirements:
   • Only original articles (not case reports, briefs, editorials, or conference papers) will be considered.
   • Must be indexed in PMC/PMDC, PubMed, Index Medicus, Excerpta Medica, or Embase.
   • Online-published articles from recognized foreign journals are accepted.
2. Experience Validation:
   • Experience must be certified by an appointing/competent authority.
   • Experience in foreign/autonomous/private institutions must be PMC/PMDC recognized.
   • OPS, BOM, TTS, and university cadre experiences are accepted if verified by PMDC.
3. Additional Requirements:
   • Applicants must submit hard copies of the online application, attested documents, and research papers within 07 working days after the closing date.
   • Valid PMC/PMDC registration required. If expired, proof of renewal submission must be attached.
4. In-Service Candidates: Must submit NOC/DPC from the parent department at the time of interview.
5. Foreign Qualification Holders: Submit an equivalence certificate from HEC or the concerned QEDC.
