PPRA Jobs 2026

Responsibilities

1. Chief Information Security Officer

• Responsible for leading, managing and providing strategic leadership to Cyber Security Strategy, Governance, Policies, Standards and Security Roadmap.
• Providing expert advise on Cyber Security threats and risks to senior management.
• Overseeing Incident Management, Vulnerability Management, Identity Security & Compliance.
• Managing Cyber Security Audits and Business Continuity requirements.
• Collaborating with Government Cyber Security bodies, Regulators, Auditors and Service Providers.

2. Chief Technology Officer

• Responsible for strategic planning of Information Technology requirements.
• Managing Technology & Investments.
• Managing IT Budgets, Infrastructure & Resources.
• Creating Quality Assurance, Security Policies & Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Working collaboratively with Management, Departments, Partners & Stakeholders.

3. Application Security Engineer

• Using security tools to monitor application logs, database, APIs and user activity.
• Investigate Cyber Security incidents and identify suspicious activity.
• Implement Application Security, Encryption and Security Access Controls.
• Perform vulnerability testing and code reviews.
• Support secure software development.

4. Security Compliance Officer

• Responsible for coordinating Information Security policies & standards.
• Maintaining Cyber Security Policies, Compliance & Risk Treatment Register.
• Coordinating Internal & External Security Audits.
• Monitoring Third Party Compliance.
• Preparing Compliance Reports and supporting Security Awareness.

5. IT Assistant

• Providing Level 1 support to EPADS users.
• Supporting users with registration, login, profile, tender publishing and bidding.
• Solving technical problems.
• Maintaining helpdesk, complaints and problem solving reports.

6. IT Technician

• Install, configure, repair and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshooting problems with hardware and software.
• Supporting hardware upgrades and OS installs.
• Preventative maintenance and maintaining an inventory of IT equipment.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following criteria for the relevant posts.

Chief Information Security Officer

• Education: Must have completed a minimum MS (18 years) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering from an HEC recognised University. Candidates must also have the following certifications.
• Certifications: CISM / CISSP
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 10years relevant experience in the relevant field after qualification. Must have 5 years experience working in a lead / management role relating to Cyber Security.
• Age: Maximum Age 55.

Chief Technology Officer

• Education: Must have a Masters or Bachelors (16 years) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a CTO, CEO, Project Manager, Project Director or similar IT management role. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role in the public sector delivering on large scale projects.
• Skills: Strategic Planning, Leadership, Communication, Technology Management, Budgeting and Knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations.
• Age: Maximum Age 55.

Application Security Engineer

• Education: Must have a Bachelors (16 years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Certifications: Must have the following certifications.
• CEH & CISA
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Application Security, Information Security or SOC.

Candidates must have relevant experience working with Web Applications, Databases, Vulnerability Assessment Tools, SIEM and SAST/DAST.

• Age: Maximum Age 40.

Security Compliance Officer

• Education: Must have a Bachelors (16 years) in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• Certifications: Ideally have the following certifications.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent Information Security Compliance/Audit Certification.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the relevant field after qualification. Ideally have experience in Information Security Compliance, ISMS, Risk Assessment, Security Audits and Policies.
• Age: Maximum Age 40.

IT Assistant

• Education: Must have a Bachelors (14/16 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Science, Statistics or related field.

Candidates with relevant hands on experience in Helpdesk / Technical Support will be preferred.

IT Technician

• Education: Must have an Intermediate or equivalent from a recognised Board of Education.
• Must have a Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Networking or related field.
• Must have practical knowledge of installing Computer Hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting and maintaining IT equipment.
• Age: Maximum Age 30.
