Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this post, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Hold at least a 16-year degree or higher in Engineering, Commerce, Business, or Management from an HEC-recognized university.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in procurement of goods, works, and services for 16-year graduates; 5 years for those with 17+ years of education.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of PPRA Rules and World Bank Procurement Guidelines are mandatory.
- Proficiency in procurement planning, vendor evaluation, bidding, tendering, contract management, and post-award implementation monitoring.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Must be below 55 years of age as of the last application date (28-May-2025).
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement plans in compliance with World Bank and PPRA standards.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle—tendering, evaluation, contract awarding, and post-contract monitoring.
- Coordinate with technical teams and municipal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement frameworks.
- Ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability in all procurement-related tasks.
- Maintain procurement documentation, records, and audit trails as per donor and government requirements.
- Assist with training municipal staff on procurement processes and best practices.
- Generate periodic reports and updates for PMDFC management and donors.
