The main duties and tasks of the job.The primary functions or activities of the job.
The Design & Supervision Specialist will need to have a proven track record in water supply, sewerage, wastewater treatment and public-sector infrastructure design and supervision; and will be expected to have participated in a wide variety of projects.
- Planning, design and implementation of water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment systems.
- Feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs and cost estimates preparation and review.
- Implementing new technologies in water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment.
- Planning and management of public-sector infrastructure projects.
- Collaboration with government departments, consultants, contractors and others.
- The preparation and review of PC-Is (Project Initiation Documents), technical reports, project proposals and donor funded project documentation.
- Construction Supervision, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Contract Administration, Measurement and Certification of works;
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
