Profile of PERA

PERA (Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority) has been assigned the task of making enforcement operations in Punjab less complicated and more organized. The goal is to set up a regulatory framework in the whole province that is transparent, accountable, and effectively working. PERA takes care of the laws being carried out regularly and at the same time keeps on inviting the entry of skilled professionals to its workforce.

With that, the authority is also in need of the investigation officers who would assist in the smooth functioning of law and governance.

Eligibility Criteria for the Positions

Investigation Officer (BS-11)

  • Number of Positions: Total 104 (including previously advertised 99 positions)
  • Salary: BS-11 with Special PERA Allowance (not for training period)
  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree (Honors) or equivalent (16 years of education) from a university recognized by HEC
    • Minimum 2nd Division

Age Limit and Physical Standards

Male Candidates:

  • Age: 22-28 years
  • Height (barefoot): 170 cm
  • Chest: 34″ Non-expanded, 36″ Expanded (expansion of at least 2 inches is required)
  • One-mile run: Must be finished in 8 minutes
  • BMI: 27
  • Vision: 6/6 (with or without glasses); color blindness disqualifies

Female Candidates:

  • Age: 22 to 28 years
  • Height: 100 cm
  • One-mile run: Must finish in 12 minutes
  • BMI: 27
  • Eyesight: 6/6 (whether with or without glasses); color blindness is disqualifying

Domicile & Posting

  • Domicile: All Punjab (Merit computed on divisional cadre)
  • Proposed Posting: Anywhere in Punjab but preferably in the concerned division

How to Apply

Registration:
Initially, candidates are required to register at Punjab Job Portal: https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk/

Educational Information:
Disclose full details of matriculation, intermediate, and graduation (honors) degrees. Application completion may be hindered by the provision of incomplete information.

Application Form:
Following the registration process, fill in the application form for the PERA positions that were made public. Besides, upload all the documents that are required, such as:

  • A recent photo (JPEG/PNG, <2MB, white background)
  • CNIC (Front & back)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Police Verification Certificate (optional)
  • Driving License (for motorcycle/car/LTV—not necessary)

Physical Test & Challan:
Authenticated candidates will receive a challan through which they can pay using PayZen for the specific PSID. Only once the payment has been made will the identification slips for the physical test be given to the candidates.

The deadline for submitting applications is 15th December 2025. Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Special Notes

  • Recruitment rules, such as age, education, or physical standards relaxation, are not applicable to these positions.
  • Only domicile certificates issued digitally will be recognized.
  • It is the responsibility of the applicants to provide an active email address and a SIM card registered under their CNIC. Email/SMS will be the means of communication.
  • PERA is entitled to increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any stage.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will consist of a sequence of steps:

  1. Written Examination/Test—The syllabus will be sent through email and will also be available on the official website.
  2. Physical Test – Only those who have succeeded in the written test will be invited.
  3. Document Verification—Allthe certificates and documents will be verified before the payment of the challan and issuance of identification slips.
