Eligibility Criteria
Each position has specific requisite academic requirements & experience. Below is an overview of the general eligibility:
For BPS-16 Posts:
Applicants applying for senior posts to Assistant Private Secretary, Protocol Officer, Documentation Officer, Mess Officer, Reproduction Supervisor, Computer Operator, and Audio Video Officer (AVO) posts must hold at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BA, BSc, BCS, MA, etc.) from a HEC-recognized university.
Experience you must have: 05 years of relevant experience in secretarial work, IT operations, mess management, or a related area of administration.
Skills: Proficient computer user, particularly in MS Office, document management, data entry, and written communication.
Typing/Shorthand Speed (Where Applicable): Typing speed is 40 words per minute, and shorthand speed is 100 words per minute (with a minimum of 90 words relaxed).
For Clerical and Administrative Posts (BPS-11 to 15):
Assistant, Steno Typist, Store In-charge, UDC, and LDC positions require an Intermediate (FA/FSc) or Bachelor’s degree with three years of practical experience in the relevant office work, typing, or record management position.
Typing speed: 30 – 40 w.p.m
Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel and data entry.
For Technical & Skilled Posts:
- Electrician: Education Matric with an electrical diploma with two years of maintenance experience.
- Cook: Education Matric with five years of experience in a civil/defense mess or similar preparation for a large-scale or hotel.
- Duplicating Machine Operator: Education Matric with two years of office or photocopying experience and basic knowledge of computers.
- Driver: Primary education with a tipping LTV/HTV license and seven years of experience driving.
For Support Staff (BPS-01 to BPS-03):
Mess Waiter, Dish Washer, Naib Qasid, Frash, Khakroob, and Chowkidar require Primary education and practical experience in hospitality, maintenance, or security.
Preference: Ex-servicemen will be preferred for Chowkidar positions.
Age Relaxation Policy
- Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, AJK, Northern Areas, and Tribal Areas: +3 years
- Sindh (R) and Balochistan (BPS-15 and below): +3 Years
- Released or retired personnel of armed forces: Up to 15 Years or actual period of service (whichever is lower).
- Govt. employees with a service record of 02 years or more: Up to 10 years (not exceeding 55 years).
- Disabled Persons (BPS-15 and below): +10 Years
- Widow / Son/Daughter of deceased civil servant (the last of the family): +05 Years
