Econometric Expert/Economist
The Econometric Expert/Economist requires a PhD/Master’s degree in Economics with preferably a specialization in International economies, econometrics or applied economics.
Successful applicants must have over 8 years’ experience in applied economics or quantitative trade study, impact study of tariff changes, tariff study or remedial measure related injury study.
Legal Assistant
A Graduate degree (first degree) from an institution recognized by HEC is required for the Legal Assistant position. Preference will be given to those with a law degree.
The position entails assisting with legal, research, drafting and litigation-related issues related to trade and tariff.

Econometric Expert/Economist
The professional selected will help NTC with the following:

- Assisting in the legal review of anti-dumping, countervailing duty and safeguard investigations conducted by NTC.

Eligibility Criteria
Econometric Expert/Economist
Eligibility: PhD/Masters degree or equivalent in Economics, with specialization in International Trade, Econometrics and/or Applied Economics.
Experience: Over 8 years applied economic experience or quantitative taste experience, experience with impact analysis on tariff changes, tariff analysis or injury-related experience with remedial measures.

Important Information
- These are all on a contract basis initially for a term of one to two years’ contract.
- Extension will be considered after one year based on evaluation and need.
- The candidates who get selected will be paid a lump sum salary which will include all the components as mentioned in the initial offer.
- First salary will be the beginning salary for annual enhancement.
- 5% to 15% salary increments can be made annually based on satisfactory performance.
- Experience will be experience acquired once the necessary qualification/degree is earned.
- The Selection/Interview Committee is responsible for short-listing candidates based on their Eligibility criteria and call them for interview in Islamabad.
- Throughout the hiring process, candidates will be asked to bring original and notarized copies of documents.
