Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an HEC-recognized university
  • Preferably an LLM or Bar-at-Law
  • At least 15 years of active, post-qualification experience in the legal field
  • Licensed Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan
  • Practical knowledge of power sector regulations, corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and contract negotiations
  • Experience in legal affairs involving courts, tribunals, arbitration, and government dealings
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Leading and managing all legal and regulatory matters of LESCO
  • Drafting legal documents, providing expert legal opinions, and supporting executive decisions
  • Coordinating litigation involving LESCO and working with external legal advisors
  • Ensuring compliance with laws affecting the power distribution industry
