Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the position of Project Director, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (First Division) from a recognized local or foreign university.
- Experience: At least 15 years of relevant experience in high-rise construction projects (7-storey or above), including electrification, substation work, solar energy systems, and energy management.
- Professional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and planning concepts
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Certifications: PMP-certified professionals will be preferred
- Other Qualifications: Knowledge of Primavera, a Project Management/Engineering Management degree is a plus
- Registration: Must be a Professional Engineer (PEC registered)
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years at the time of closing date
Key Responsibilities:
The selected Project Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a multi-storey building construction in Islamabad. Duties include:
- Leading the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery
- Ensuring construction aligns with the latest building codes of Pakistan
- Managing subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams
- Ensuring quality control and safety regulations are met
- Preparing and submitting project progress reports to the management
