ASSISTANT MANAGING EDITOR
The new hire will ensure that the College Journal’s content is suitable for all publications and will manage the publication schedule of every issue accordingly. He/she will also look at the contents and writing style of each article, thereby ensuring that the submissions meet CPSP standards. Conducting counts and checks of facts, discussing details, and creating content for editorials will also be part of the job.
Required Qualification: The applicant needs to be a graduate in English/journalism or mass communication, preferably with a Master’s degree in the same field. Medical graduates/allied health sciences with relevant experience may also apply. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be proficient in MS-Office.
ASSISTANT EDITOR
Since the candidate should be a graduate in English, a master’s degree would be an asset along with the relevant experience in medical journals. Must be familiar with computers and possess good writing skills in English. Editing and proofreading experience will be considered a major advantage.
