Deputy Manager/ Manager Merchandising (Knits Business)
Beacon Impex would like to appoint a candidate who would be responsible for handling the business accounts assigned to them, which would involve product development and costing, till ordering and shipment. Coordination of customers and internal resource is required to fulfil orders in accordance with the customers’ requirements, quality requirements, delivery dates and commercial goals.
Job Responsibilities
The short and long term responsibility of the successful applicant will be to manage all aspects of assigned business accounts, including but not limited to:
- Incorporating product development and costing work.
- Collecting data and approval from customers.
- Active involvement in ordering and delivery of products.
- Communicating with customers and internal groups about the costs, sampling, approval, production scheduling, quality and shipments.
- Making sure that orders are completed as required by customers on time.
- Ensuring required standards in order execution.
- Ensuring that orders are processed efficiently, and that they are executed to support commercial goals.
- Solving problems in advance with fabrics, trims, production and approvals.
- Communicating with Production, Planning, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain, other support departments.
- Multiple buyers, styles and orders at one time.
- Planning for timely execution of orders on T&A and critical path activities.

Qualification
It is preferred that candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the following or related areas:
