Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Education: At least 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields from an HEC-recognized institute.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, system admin, or IT infrastructure roles. At least 1 year in a public sector organization is preferred.
- Additional Criteria:
- First division (60% or above)
- Good knowledge of software, networking, diagnostics, and MS Office tools
- Strong communication, admin, and analytical skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with a domicile in the relevant district
Experience in private companies is acceptable only if the company is registered with SECP or another regulatory authority.
Job Responsibilities
As an IT Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and handling clerical and admin tasks at Enforcement Stations. Major duties include:
- Managing and maintaining desktops, printers, scanners, and laptops
- Resolving hardware/software/network-related issues
- Preparing duty rosters and managing correspondence with the head office
- Maintaining financial records, vendor payments, and stock management
- Drafting letters and official notes for enforcement stations
- Coordinating with vendors and external IT service providers
- Preparing reports on system health and administrative operations
This role requires candidates to handle a blend of IT troubleshooting, administrative documentation, vendor coordination, and enforcement support.
