Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification:
- CA / ACCA / ACMA (Member of a recognized professional accounting body) with at least 5 years of relevant experience OR
- Master’s in Finance, Accounts, or Commerce with 10 years of relevant experience
- Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as notified by SECP
- Experience in financial record-keeping and internal control systems
- Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and financial information management
- Knowledge of GFR, FR/SRs, Treasury Rules, and Grant-in-Aid utilization
- Prior experience in a public, private, or corporate organization is preferred
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years
Responsibilities of CFO
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Providing financial advice to management
- Implementing internal financial controls
- Managing funds and financial records efficiently
