Emergency Medical Technician – BPS-12
The number of jobs for Emergency Medical Technicians is 350. Qualification required: Paramedical Diploma, Nursing or LHV. Diploma in Health Technology & Surgical Technology will be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria
Domicile
The candidates should be citizen of Pakistan and domicile of KP so far as location is concerned.
Age Limit
The age is between 22 and 35 years. Age relaxation will be honored, as per the current Government guidelines.
Qualification
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Paramedical Diploma/ Nursing/LHV. Preference of Diploma in Health Technology & Surgical Technology.

Physical Test Requirements
All candidates must be able to satisfy the physical test requirements:
- Female candidates: 1.5-mile running in 9 minutes, minimum height 5’6″ and Chest 33″.
- Aged 40 years and above: 1 mile running (9 mins).
- Male candidates: 1/4 mile running in 4 minutes, 20 seconds or less, with minimum height of 5’4″.
Preliminary results will be communicated to the candidates and they will be permitted to show up for the physical/screening test originally. Eligibility will be closely reviewed in the recruitment process and ineligible candidates could be rejected.
Important Information
- For BPS-01 to BPS-16, the passing rate in the screening/written test is 40% and higher.
- Selection aggregate will be based on 70 marks out of 80 for education and 20 marks of ETEA test and 10 marks of interview.
- ETEA will perform ability/skill tests, which may encompass driving, computer literacy, diving and other tests as appropriate.
- Interview call letter will be issued to only short listed candidates.
- Original CNIC, certificates/degrees and mark sheets will be needed during the relevant process of testing/interviewing.
