Import Executive
Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited is looking to hire a detail-oriented and competent Import Executive. The responsibility includes import documentation management, shipments coordination and customs clearance, banking documentation and collaboration with various internal and external parties.

Job Responsibilities
The candidate to be selected will be entrusted with the following:
- Coordinate and manage import documentation and import shipments end-to-end, ensuring they are processed timely and correctly.
- Handle and verify Letters of Credit (LCs), contracts, invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, certificates of origin and other shipping documents.
- Communicate with banks, clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, suppliers and own departments.
- Track and review international shipments and keep current records of shipment schedule, ETAs, clearances and deliveries.
- Organise customs clearance arrangements and ensure that customs clearance documents are in place on time to avoid costs of any kind including demurrage and detention.
- Check Import documents for correctness and adherence to commercial terms agreed and applicable regulations.
- Help submissions of LC opening/amendment, retirement of documents and other banking procedures involved with import activity.
- Maintain complete import records, shipment trackers, costing information and management reports.
- Plan and receive materials in coordination with other departments involved in this process, such as Procurement, Finance, Accountancy, Stores and others.
- Assist the administration of the shipment, documentation and banking and clearance-related problems.
